Terms of Service

• —You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live if higher.
• —Give accurate information and keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
• —One Free account per person. Creating extra accounts to get more free usage is not allowed, and we may close accounts that do.

• —Paid plans (Plus and Pro) are subscriptions billed monthly or yearly in advance, at the price shown when you subscribe.
• —Payments are processed by Polar, our merchant of record, which also collects any sales tax or VAT. Polar’s own terms apply to the payment.
• —Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
• —You can cancel at any time from Settings. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then your account moves to the Free plan.
• —Upgrades take effect straight away and the price difference is charged at once. Moving to a smaller plan takes effect at your next renewal.
• —We may change prices for future billing periods. We will tell you before a change affects your subscription, and you can cancel before it does.

All payments are final and non-refundable. This includes partial billing periods, unused allowance, unused time after you cancel, downgrades, and yearly plans cancelled early. When you cancel, you keep your plan until the end of the period you already paid for instead of receiving a refund.

Your subscription starts as soon as you pay, and you ask us to provide it immediately. Where the law gives you a right to withdraw from a digital service, you acknowledge that you lose that right once the service has started, to the extent the law allows. This section does not limit any rights you have under laws that cannot be waived.

• —Each plan includes the models and monthly allowance described on the pricing page. SelGPT shows how much you have used.
• —“Unlimited” Sel-Vega on paid plans is subject to a daily fair-use limit that protects the service for everyone.
• —We may limit, queue or pause requests to prevent abuse or protect the service, including limits on messages per minute and replies running at the same time.
• —Allowances reset each month and do not carry over.

Do not use SelGPT to break the law or to harm others. In particular, you may not:

• —Create content that sexually exploits minors, promotes violence or terrorism, or harasses, threatens or defames people.
• —Develop malware, break into systems, or commit fraud, scams or spam.
• —Infringe others’ intellectual property or privacy, or process personal data without a lawful basis.
• —Resell, share or automate access to SelGPT, scrape it, or try to get around limits, security or billing.
• —Break the usage policies of the AI providers whose models SelGPT uses.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, without refund.

• —AI answers can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, even when they cite sources. Check important information yourself.
• —SelGPT is not a substitute for professional advice. Do not rely on it alone for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions.
• —You are responsible for how you use what SelGPT produces.

You own what you send to SelGPT and, to the extent the law allows, what it produces for you. You give us permission to store and process your content only to run SelGPT for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not use your chats to train AI models, and we only send them to AI providers that agree not to train on them.

We keep improving SelGPT and may change, replace or remove features and models. When we replace a model, we aim to replace it with one of similar or better quality. Features marked “Soon” are not promised by a date.

You can stop using SelGPT at any time. To delete your account and data, email support@selgpt.app; cancel any paid plan first. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the service or other users at risk.

SelGPT is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties about it, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or in SelGPT before it takes effect. Continuing to use SelGPT after that means you accept the new terms.
