The differences, explained
The top model. Sel-Sirius runs on the model ranked #1 on the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index. On ChatGPT, models at that level sit in the $100 and $200 Pro plans.
No silent model switching. ChatGPT can move a conversation to a different model, for example on sensitive topics, and paying users can’t turn this off (TechRadar). In SelGPT the model you choose answers every message.
Limits you can see. ChatGPT’s caps vary with demand and aren’t published as fixed numbers (TokenKarma). SelGPT shows a meter with how much of your monthly allowance is left.
Ads and training. ChatGPT shows ads to Free and Go users (Help Net Security) and uses chats for training unless you opt out (Sonomos). SelGPT has no ads on any plan and sends requests only to providers that agree not to train on them.
